Gunhaven's first attempt at BF2 since 2 years.

So basically, on steam, they were selling the entire BF2 package (armored, spec ops and euro + vanilla) for 7 bucks, so I decided to buy it.

Downloaded it, set it up, alas, my first challenge appeared!

The login menu! Twas 2 years since I saw that menu with the static background, furiously trying different comps in order to find out my lost email I used to login BF2 and alas, I had to 'password lost' option (love those) and managed to get inside!

First thing I did was to go over my stats page, sure enough... 2007 was the last time I played this baby and then I went over my weapons, still had my unlocked weapons including the dreaded F2000 that I adored so much.

Eager to play, I quickly joined a Karkand game... and to my dismay I exclaimed, "What? You can't strafe while sprinting?" which you could in MW2...

Then I was kicked for having a high ping.

Ahhh, the good old days of raging and owning... same's with MW2. =P

Pretty neat to see some old contents again although some peeps recommanded me to get Realism mod which I heard it's amazing.

I second Project Reality.

It's fun to experiment with some nostalgia. I often revisit games that have long been dead.

I haven't fired BF2 up for a long time. I should, just for the heck of it. Although, BF Bad Company 2 will be here soon! Woohoo!
