A new breed of music led by Attack Attack! is under fire from damn near everyone. Attack Attack! is a metalcore/screamo/pop/technocore/christian/CRABCORE band.

Some of you probably scratched your head at the last "genre". Crabcore is not necessarily new in that music has been labeled by the choreography since time began, but because it's so different than the traditional stance, it's getting a lot of criticism.

Crabcore - A new genre of music characterized by the bass player's “crabwalk,” an extremely low stance, wherein both feet are set apart from one another as far as possible in a very deep squat.

Here's a link to exactly what crabcore looks like: http://www.buzzfeed.com/peggy/crabcore

The link provided is one that isn't against Crabcore. I would post one that totally defaces the band, Attack Attack!, but the language is so terrible, I'd feel bad posting it.

My opinion? Crabcore is awesome, and it's a great way to be different than every other "cookie-cutter" band that's ever existed. Think about it, what do you remember most bands by? Their music of couse! And the lyrics and the way they sound... But Attack Attack! will be remembered by their uniqueness and their creativity. I mean really, who would of thought to mix screamo with auto-tuner, technocore with metalcore, and sing about Christ? I mean sure, it might not be accepted by everyone, but that's only because it's new and different. And on top of all that, they throw in a new way to play their instruments... It's genius! Right this very second, A^2 is capitalizing off of their creativity.

Shirts that say "Crabcore!" and "CRAB - ****ING - CORE" and things like that. I'm not gonna lie, I've bought the shirts already. I love their music and they should keep doing what they're doing.

"Attack Attack! -- Where you at!?" - Hot Grills and High Tops off their 2008 album, Someday Came Suddenly.

Well basically the band is being shut out because they are different. I'm sure we could all think of bands that were truly different in both their appearance and sound. Take Kiss for example. Dear God, these guys are nuts! Even now, well past their expiration date, they're still going strong with sold-out concerts around the world.

It's obvious that we're reaching the edge of the map when it comes to unexplored styles of music. These guys, Attack Attack!, are simply trying to mix some preexisting aspects of music while trying to bring something new to the table.

They smashed together multiple genres, styles of music, and instruments. They then added some choreography; synchronized head-banging, the running man, crabcore, crab hammer, and so on. Granted their official music video for Stick Stickly is kinda... bad... a lot... they're creativity will be more than enough to put their name out there.
